The Grand Parade

The Grand Parade is a family-friendly fundraiser walk that helps local charities who support aging Canadians and their families. Team up, walk, and fundraise on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Arrowsmith Lodge is the Parksville location for The Grand Parade, a peer to peer fundraiser focused on supports for those in long-term care and assisted living. Their fundraising goal of $25,000 will help complete an outdoor event space where seniors can gather together and host a variety of community groups.

This is the 3rd year for the Parksville location and the monies raised previously have enabled Arrowsmith Lodge to complete the concrete platform and wide accessible pathways for the outdoor space. The next phase is to build the covered, open sided, timber frame pavilion.
