1st Annual Biosphere Awareness Day

The 1st Annual Biosphere Awareness Day is set to take place Thursday December 4 at the Kwalikum Secondary School, aiming to raise awareness of our UNESCO-designated Biosphere Region and the collective community efforts that go into supporting its mandates.

This year’s theme is “Community Connections” an event that connects students with the community by bringing community to school. This is a great reason for you to visit a local Secondary School and an opportunity to connect with local non-profit groups and government organizations working across the biosphere region.
