The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) Board approved grants for 20 organizations across the northern part of the region at the December 9, 2025, board meeting. The value of the grants awarded totals $37,010 and will be used for a variety of community and recreation-focused projects.
The grants were awarded through two programs: Oceanside Recreation Services Youth Grants (11 – 18 years) and Oceanside Recreation Services Community Grants (all ages). Recreation grants support recreation programs, special events or projects which benefit specific communities in the Oceanside area.
