BC Transit and local government partners across the province will be offering free transit on federal election day, Monday, April 28. This initiative is to support residents in getting to the polls on the final voting day to cast their ballots.
Free transit service, including for registered handyDART customers, will be available all day on all routes throughout the Regional District of Nanaimo except for interregional route 70 Nanaimo to Cowichan Express (NCX) where fare payment will still be required.
