“Philippine Mars Passing Battleship Island” – Sproat Lake Feb 9, 2025
Hard to believe, that this was taken about 5 minutes prior to its final take off from Sproat Lake. I’ve always known Sproat Lake as the home of the Martin Mars, so there is a definite hole in that memory now. Hopefully, it will have a long, well-earned retirement at the Pima Air and Space Museum in Arizona.
