The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) will be opening an extreme cold weather warming centre overnight on Sunday, February 2, Monday, February 3 and Tuesday, February 4 at the Oceanside Community Church at 1420 Alberni Hwy, Parksville, to provide temporary relief from the colder overnight temperatures for those who need a place to go.
The warming centre will be open the following dates and times:
- Sunday, February 2 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Â
- Monday, February 3 from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.Â
- Tuesday, February 4, from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
