As part of the Regional District of Nanaimo’s (RDN) commitment to mitigating climate change and supporting environmental stewardship, the RDN is accepting rebate applications from homeowners for environmentally friendly improvements to their properties. For 2025, $267,500 in rebates is available with individual rebates ranging from $150 to $1,500 depending on the program. Rebates are awarded to qualifying applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until available funds are spent. Interested RDN residents are encouraged to apply early as funding is limited per rebate program.
